News & Press Releases - [Main Index] Anritsu deploys IMS solution with major mobile operator in Eastern EU 2010-02-02 Copenhagen, Denmark, January 28 2010, Anritsu A/S, a global provider of Operations Support Systems (OSS) for advanced and converged networks, announced today that their installation in a leading mobile operator in Eastern EU has been successfully upgraded to support the next generation IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network technology.The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) application is a part of Anritsu’s MasterClaw network monitoring and troubleshooting solution, which provides performance management and service intelligence. With the IMS application the operator can ensure Quality of Service for a range of new multimedia based services. IMS brings internet type applications to the subscribers regardless of access method. “Deploying services over IMS networks is really starting to gain traction with the major mobile operators, and Anritsu is at the forefront of helping our customers with the management of their IMS service quality,” said Marketing Director Neil Tomlinson. “Like with any other service delivery, the ability to monitor and troubleshoot the service before customers actually experience any problems is paramount.
